The Catalytic Foundation is dedicated to promoting wellbeing and looking after all New Zealanders.
We work closely with over 100 charities across Aotearoa to ensure they have the skills, money, and goods they need to provide assistance to the community they support. We find this support by guiding businesses on their journey to operating with a social responsibility focus and helping individuals and philanthropists to maximise the social impact of their donations.
By conducting regular robust research on community needs and being involved with the charities we support, we know where donations are needed and where they will make the most impact.

Between 1975 and 2021, we operated under the name United Way New Zealand. In 2021, the decision was made to rebrand as the Catalytic Foundation to move the organisation's focus to local communities and to accelerate social impact.
